A pink alert has been issued by means of the IMD for seven districts in Kerala for Saturday as heavy rains proceed around the state.
Districts on pink alert on 10 August are Ernakulam, Idukki, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad and Kannur, that means a forecast of very heavy to extraordinarily heavy rainfall.
Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Thrissur and Kasargode were issued an orange alert, signifying forecast of heavy to very heavy rainfall.
