RANGIA — Two individuals, together with a kid, had been killed and 40 others injured when the bus they had been travelling in overturned in Assam’s Kamrup district on Wednesday, police mentioned.
The passengers, citizens of Kamrup’s Chhaygaon, mentioned they had been getting back from a National Register of Citizens (NRC) listening to in jap Assam’s Golaghat district.
“The bus hit a roadside tree on NH 17 within the wee hours of Wednesday, leading to loss of life of 2 folks and accidents to 40 others,” Officer-in-Fee of Chhaygaon Police Station, Rupam Hazarika, mentioned.
