Amy Poehler Wants To Know When Women Will Get To Be As Mediocre As Men

Amy Poehler gave an unique interview to The Hollywood Reporter forward of her directorial debut, “Wine Nation,” hitting theaters.

Amy Poehler desires girls to be allowed to be as “messy” and “mediocre” as males. 

“Girls are repeatedly criticized for being too emotional,” the comic and actor instructed The Hollywood Reporter in a characteristic printed Wednesday. “Are we able to be allowed to be as messy, as far and wide, as inconsistent and as mediocre as males? Do we need to at all times be affected person, particular, nurturing, adaptable?”

Poehler, whose directorial debut, “Wine Country,” hits Netflix subsequent month, added that she is ill of girls having to give an explanation for the dangerous habits of guys like fellow comic Louis C.K., whom several women have accused of sexual misconduct.
