Pakistan Violates Ceasefire In Uri, One Person Injured


SRINAGAR — One civilian used to be injured Friday in a ceasefire violation via Pakistani troops alongside the LoC in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir, officers mentioned.

Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked firing against Indian posts and villages in Kamalkote house of Uri in Baramulla district on Thursday night, the officers mentioned.

They mentioned the intermittent firing persevered thru out the evening. One civilian has been injured within the firing.

Indian Military has answered to the Pakistani firing in ok measure, the officers mentioned.

The ceasefire violation via the Pakistani troops comes as tensions between India and Pakistan rose following the February 14 terror assault in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district during which 40 CRPF infantrymen had been killed.

Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror staff claimed duty for the assault.
