LONDON, Nov 18 (Reuters) – Buckingham Palace issued a brand new photographic portrait of Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip on Saturday to mark their upcoming 70th wedding ceremony anniversary.
The couple married at London’s Westminster Abbey on Nov. 20, 1947, simply two years after the top of Global Warfare Two, in a lavish rite attended by way of statesmen and royalty from all over the world.
The portrait, taken previous this month, confirmed the queen dressed in the similar get dressed which she selected for a provider of thanksgiving to mark their diamond wedding ceremony anniversary held on the Abbey the place they have been married.
